University of Commerce

1. Foundation Date: The University was founded in 1960.

2. Mandate: 

To provide higher education in commerce, economics and tourism and related fields through its bachelor training program. Beside theoretical instruction, the University has the mission of conducting scientific research, carrying out and applying the achievements of science and technology in the fields of commerce and tourism.

Working staff of 430 includes 275 lecturers in which there are 6 Honored Teachers, 9 Professors, 66 Doctors and 115 Masters.

7. International Relations

The University has established relationship and is now 
co-operating with many organizations such as SEAMEO, AUF, HUMAP, etc. and has signed bilateral co-operation agreements in the field of training and scientific research with some overseas universities such as Marseille II University, Dunkerque (France); Saxion University (the Netherlands); Kwansei Gakuin University (Japan); Jonkoping University (Sweden).

The University recognizes and highly appreciates the invaluable contributions and co-operations of organizations, firms, sponsors and foreign universities. It is also willing to develop collaboration with domestic and foreign institutions in areas of education training, scientific research and development of training, tourism and service technology./.
